Elspeth Anne Macrae is a British writer and performer of music that combines elements of weirdfolk, punk and dark Outsider pop, more recently as Elspeth Anne. Her lyrical songs are miniature explorations into Understanding Life; ranging from eerie and unsetttling to frenetic and joyful, delivered with honesty and dark humour. Hailing from the Borderlands of Mid Wales, she has been gigging and recording in various band and solo (dis)guises since 2005, playing venues and festivals around the UK.
