About Elika Mahony
Raised in a musical family in Kenya, Elika Mahony learned classical piano from an early age. She began composing instrumental pieces and music inspired by the Baha’i Writings while attending university in the United States. In 1997, Elika produced her first CD With Fiona Doomun and Michele Brown, entitled "Melodies of the Nightingale" on which they sing short, meditational passages from the Bahá´í Writings set to music. Elika's second CD entitled "Melodies of the Nightingale for the Family" includes prayers and meditations for parents
