In 1991 Bastian Brinkcate, 11 years old at the time, received the first "experience" by the prodigy from a friend, the album had an instant effect on him which opened him to oldskool hiphop and breakbeats. in 1995 bastian bought a drum machine and hooked it to his computer and began experimenting, a few years later he met joris. they decided to start a formation called A-Hive " anarchistic hive", joris took care of scratching with dubs, bastian created acid styled beats.
