el vatican (pretentious lowercase only, hipsters!) is the work of Irish ex-pat Peter Brennan. Now based in Wisconsin USA, el vatican has released one full length album 'Slumber Party', and one EP 'Nowhere Near' as of 2008. The project's sound has progressed from slow, somber electronica to introspective ambient, incorporating some live instruments and orchestral elements along the way.
