About Eduards Rozenstrauhs
Eduards Rozenstrauhs (lv: Eduards Rozenštrauhs) was born in Riga on 13 August 1918. The family had three children. His father worked as a postman, died at the age of fifty when the children were still small. All three children had mastered a different instrument game. Even several instruments were played by Eduards, but he particularly liked the accordion. He also had a good voice, a tenor. Rozenshtrauh gained an education at Riga's 38th elementary school and Riga's 2nd Gymnasium until 1940, studying in Latvian conservatorship.
