
Eduardo Moguillansky was born in 1977 in Buenos Aires, where he was to study conducting and composition. It was in Buenos Aires that he founded the Ensemble Dedalus in 1999, which he often conducted; graduate studies at the Mozarteum Salzburg with Dennis Russell Davies and Jorge Rotter followed. Since then, he has been studying composition with Marco Stroppa in Stuttgart. He attended master classes with Kurt Masur, Jorma Panula, Peter Eötvös, Sylvain Cambreling, Zsolt Nagy, Brian Ferneyhough, and Michael Jarrell.
