About Eduard Topchjan
Born in Yerevan in 1971 Mr. Topchjan has had an excellent music education in Armenian music colleges and the conservatory where music traditionally continues to be a strong field of pedagogy. His basic study was in violin, but as Mr. Topchjan expressed interest in conducting, he began taking classes from eminent Armenian conductor Maestro Ohan Durian. Since then, he has enriched his training with valuable consultations from Sir George Solti, Claudio Abbado and Nello Santi.
