About Edith Salmen
Edith Salmen is a German composer and percussionist. Born in Feiburger, is one of the first generation of women in the German drum world. She first studied with Bernhard Wulff in her hometown and then attended Karl Peinkofer's master class at the Munich University of Music. Already as a student she got the opportunity to play stage music for spoken theater, to compose or to have the musical direction. In addition to all solo and chamber music activities, this always remained a focus of her engagement.
