About Edil Husainov
Edil Husainov (also spelled Edil Huseinov, Russian: Едил Хусаинов, Kazakh: Еділ Хусаинов, born 1955) is a Kazakh multi-instrumentalist. He grew up in Atyrau, in the southwest of Kazakhstan,where the nomadic tradition is still strong. He studied music at the conservatory in Almaty, specialising in traditional instruments.
