About Eddie Russo
Eddie Russo, a native of Massachusetts, started his career in upstate New York with the cover band Soul Incorporated. After a short time in the U.S. Army playing trombone with military bands, he joined Blue Magic in California, a funk sounding show band signed to Liberty Records and MCA Publishers. He’s toured nationally with the Buddy Miles Band, D.D. Smith and Taxi, the Fabulous Flippers (‘Harlem Shuffle’), and the regrouped Spiral Starecase (‘I Love You More Today Than Yesterday’).
