About Eddie Quansah
Eddie Quansah probably the greatest trumperter of his generation in Ghana. Eddie is a Ghanaian but I am not sure where he was born. Eddie played many venues in Ghana but I saw him a few times at the HOTEL DE CALIFORNIA, ADABRAKA, ACCRA - this was around 1962-1963. The group he fronted was the GLOBE MASTERS. Well, I get the goose pimples when I talk about the GLOBE MASTERS. Prior to leading the GLOBE MASTERS, he was with the STAR GAZERS. Not sure if he led this group.
