About Duraluxe
Duraluxe formed in 1997 when Troy Daugherty joined forces with Chris Colbert in Nashville, TN and opened their studio, Dolorosa. The studio provided the creative backdrop as they worked on their first full length as Duraluxe. The album was helmed by Colbert and Daugherty; however, they teamed with Chicago native, Keith Cleversley to record some songs. The end result was the 1999 Meddle Records release, Dolorosa. They recruited long time friends, drummer Mark Emge and bassist Tommy Wedge.
