Dublin Robot, a five piece band from London, United Kingdom have been described as an ‘almost punk’ group. The current line up is split 50/50 by gender, consisting of song writer and singer Stephanie Plonkties, formerly of mathematical emo punks the Ghastly Cadaver Experience, Mika Parton, Kirk Tsuchida, Josie Gwinnett, and Chris Friis-Hansen. He was sold to French club Lille OSC, in a Lille club record transfer deal. Their early records (1982-85) for labels like Whoah!
