Joshua Allison is a multi-instrumental musician from Detroit. He started playing music at 3 years old when he received his first drumset. This lead him to learn how to play more instruments throughout his life. In his Junior year of High School, he started a SoundCloud project under the name "IceCream" due to the project sounding "cold and smooth." Around the time Allison entered college he dropped this persona. Since 2019 he's been releasing music under the name Driver.
