Drew lived a pretty normal life as a Kid in kansas, growing up as a teenager in a suburb. Bought his first guitar in the 8th grade. It was in college that he met a girl from pawleys island, SC... Who broke his heart. It was then he began to get into the creative process. Standing in a coffee house in hutchinson, KS... in 2008 he decided to start writing songs. From this came many songs he has written. As far as influences, there weren't many, a friend said his music sounded like Daniel Johnston
