It had originally began under the name Hya Synthesis, though the name had changed shortly after the singer Vivid had left the project. DJ Oavatos had then proceded under the project name DJ Oavatos, which began an exploration in sound heavily inspired by electronic industrial projects including downLOAD, Skinny Puppy, VNV Nation, Shamanavi, Otto Von Schirach, Venetian Snares, and the Flashbulb.
