About Door Marked Summer
Door Marked Summer formed in Whitstable, Kent (UK) in the late 80s, emerging from the time's vibrant squat-punk scene. Their unique sound, whilst based in primal pounding post-punk (heavily influenced by the likes of Killing Joke), was coloured with the dynamics of various influences from dub, funk, psychedelia and goth.
