Domovoi is minimal instrumental experimentation. Lo-fi guitars, melancholy drums and brooding synths meld into an embracing gestalt of ethereal warmth. There are two other artists that go by the name of Domovoi:; [1] Domovoi (Salem, OR), a solo drone / doom project from Paul Riedl (Blood Incantation, Merkstave, Spectral Voice, ex-Velnias, and others) for his Special Low Frequency label, an imprint of Woodsmoke that dealt primarily with ambient releases.
