Dolce Stil Nuovo, the 12 piece Chicago based hip-hop outfit, rips through 17 tracks of jazz, bossa nova, and drum 'n' bass rhythms. Recorded in 1999, mixed down in San Francisco, this massive genre defying album is already achieving the status of an underground classic. The band hailed from Champaign Illinois and was the brainchild of (keyboardist) Will Freyman. They had one album release which was titled "Infastructure" and featured the bands unique Jazz/Beat blend.
