About Dojorok
Juan Manuel Chaparro aka Dojorok, is a hip-hop and electronic producer/ DJ from Omaha, Nebraska. Taking influences from all musical aspects, he was heavily influenced by his father 's guitar lessons and old Spanish record collection. Intrigued by the record collection and digging culture, Juan soon began spending countless hours in local record shops. He discovered the aggressive sound of drum & bass and ragga jungle. Eventually venturing into a more down tempo sound, with influences of the likes of Prefuse 73 and Aphex Twin.
