About Dkdent
The German duo DKDENT consists of Dirk (music, programming, synthesizers) and Stephanie (lyrics, vocals). The cities they live in have a long tradition of electronic music: Dirk comes from Düsseldorf, known for bands like Kraftwerk and Die Krupps, Stephanie from Cologne, the homebase of Mouse On Mars. They met in 2002 and started to record their first demos in 2003 followed by a couple of live appearences. In 2006 they met Bob Kraushaar, known for productions for the Pet Shop Boys
