DJazz combines Jazz, Latin, Hip Hop, Breakbeat, Dub and other electronic music styles. The name “DJazz” is a combination between the words DJ and Jazz … with other words: DJazz = “DJs Jazz”. DJazz project is a “studio project” at present time. “DJazz” started in 1998 in Zwolle (The Netherlands) when Roelant Hollander and DJ Phaze (Olivier Schreuder) got together to make some Jazz-Hop grooves - inspired by Jazz-hop Projects such as “Jazzmatazz“ (by Guru)
