Born in the Concourse Village Section of the Bronx in New York City, DJ Vintage Soul's influences began within his own mother & grandmother's heavy R&B and Jazz music collection. From a young age, Vintage began the love of music. After relocating to the Washington D.C. area in the Mid-80s, Vintage began picking up instruments starting out with the Trumbone. Around this time, a movement was starting to arize, the House movement. Started in Chicago
