DJ Califas is the pseudonym of American experimental musician, conceptual artist, and performance poet Arturo Cota. Originally the sole producer in the dark ambient project Heathen Front (which would eventually blossom into the harsh noise / power electronics project Danorum.), he adopted the moniker DJ Califas for the release of Cholo Nightcore.
