About Dirk the Legend
Dirk the Legend(commonly referred to as Dirk), is a solo band from Fargo, North Dakota created by Dirk "Incognito" Kirk in 2013. Together with his Macbook and trusty library of samples, Kirk pioneered a new genre known as post-buttrock . This new and innovative genre mixed a unique blend of overused guitar samples, generic drum samples, and raspy vocals, which separated him from his contemporaries in the Fargo music scene. Kirk draws many influences from notable artists including Slipknot, The Ganja Bros.
