About Dilyara Gabitova
Dilyara Gabitova was born in 1977 in Beloretsk, Bashkortostan—part of the Russian Federation. At age 6, she began studying piano at the special music school in Ufa, the capital of Bashkortostan. From 1992 to 1996, she studied piano at the Ufa Art College, at which point she began composing. In 1997, Ms.Gabitova entered the Moscow State Conservatory, studying composition with Prof. Albert Leman; upon his death in 1998, she began studies with Prof.
