About Diane French
After studying classical music for 15 years, Diane French dropped music completely, vowing never to play another note. It wasn't until 10 years later that she became friends with several artists - musicians, writers and painters - who inspired her to consider a return to music. At an instore performance by recording artist Jim White, French bought a cheap electric guitar that he was selling. He told her that he'd only sell it to her if she promised to write songs with it.
