About Deutschlandradio
Deutschlandradio is a national German radio network. It operates three national networks, Deutschlandfunk (from Cologne), Deutschlandradio Kultur (from Berlin) and DRadio Wissen. Deutschlandfunk was originally a West German station targeting listeners in East Germany and the rest of the communist block, whereas Deutschlandradio Kultur is the result of a merger of West Berlin's RIAS station and East Berlin's DS Kultur after German reunification. Both networks have since spread throughout Germany
