About Deutsche Ashram
Deutsche Ashram are an alternative electronic / shoegaze duo from Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The band are two people: Merinde Verbeek (vocals) and Ajay Saggar (instruments). Saggar is also the main man of King Champion Sounds. Their otherworldly sound couples Ajay's shimmery, shivery guitar strum with Merinde's lovely, elastic voice. Deutsche Ashram emerged from their isolation in the studio after several months with an album entitled Deeper And Deeper, which saw its official release in November 2016.
