About Destroy DC
When legendary punk band Conflict went on hiatus in late 2009 drummer Spike T Smith wanted a vehicle for new songs he had been writing so decided to call on the talents of guitarist Gav King who was also looking for an outlet for his energetic riffs and ideas that had been fermenting for some time. Old friend & bass player extrodinaire, Si ‘The Resinator’ Turner, was the missing crucial component to take on the jamming/song writing mission where a unique fusion of ‘Progressive Punk’ and ‘Roots and Dub’ was being created.
