Desert Beneath The Pavement was formed in late 2010. Their sound is influenced by post metal / post hardcore legends Cult of Luna, Neurosis, Amen Ra or Fall Of Efrafa. In December 2010 the band recorded an online demo with 2 songs and played several concerts with bands like City Of Ships, Planks, Rorcal, and Cough. On Onctober 26th 2012 Desert Beneath The Pavement released their debut Transit. The lyrical concept combines elements of the oppressive solitude of McCarthy's The Road and the postmodern world of Thomas Pynchon.
