About Describe Me The Ocean
Describe Me The Ocean formed near the end of 2010 in Murmansk, Russian Federation. Founder and lead-guitarist Alex Moskalev invited Alex Saraykov to play some metalcore with him. Whereas Moskalev liked shredding and technical guitar playing, Saraykov preferred post-hardcore and trancecore influences. Their first tracks were predominately metal, leading the band to search out other musicians to create a more complex and multi-faceted sound. They trialled many until settling on Alex Kuznetsov for rhythm-guitar and Evgeny Kuzmin on bass.
