About Derek Charke
Derek Charke is emerging as a powerful and original voice on the Canadian musical landscape. His recently commissioned works for the internationally renowned Kronos Quartet have been performed around the world, including Carnegie Hall and the Vienna Concert House. His music has also been performed widely by groups such as the Acadia Wind Ensemble, Continuum New Music, Ensemble Symposium, Four Gallon Drum, The Group for Contemporary Music, Helikon Ensemble
