About Departure from Apathy
DIY emo/screamy-hardcore band from the barren musical wasteland of southern-maine. active 2003-2004ish. probabaly the only band of their type in maine until the band And/Or formed in 2005 or 2006. members ran the DIY label oh snap! records and released a demo and a full-length cd before the band disbanded. former members have formed/continued several bands in Maine and Massachusetts since DFA came to an end, including Ført Ved Brann, The Living City, Team Teamwork, Eld, Dust Witch, Cambiata, Time Fence, and Fin Razel.
