About Denim Samurai
Denim Samurai were a Houston-based alternative rock band that formed in 1999. The original lineup was Preston Morgan (vocals), Tony de la Cerda (guitar), Sam Eddington (drums), and Kurt Smith (bass). Almost immediately, de la Cerda left the group; Eddington moved to guitar, and Matt Reynolds signed on as drummer. This version of the group stayed together for only a few months before breaking up. A few years later, Morgan and Eddington resurrected the name and began playing together as a duo.
