About Defacing God
Placed in the dark North of Denmark. Defacing God are a 5-piece dark Extreme Melodic Death Metal outfit hailing from the city of Aalborg. Inspired by opulent Scandinavian metal traditions, the project was formed in 2015 by co-founders; vocalist Sandie "The Lilith" Gjørtz and drummer Michael Olsson. Defacing God base their conceptual themes on the seeping darkness that moves in us all – rooted in occultism and witchcraft, but primarily the mythologically mysterious female demon Lilith and her tales of fervent defiance and perseverance.
