
Ded Byrds were a Merseyside punk/new wave band from the Greater Liverpool area of the United Kingdom. They were active from December 1977 to June 1979 before changing their name into Walkie Talkies (who called it a day in November 1979). Personnel: David Knopov (vocals), Jon Moss (drums), Ambrose Reynolds (bass), Wayne Hussey (guitar), Dave Wibberley (guitar) and Denyze D’Arcy (sax, vocals). Knopov, Moss and Reynolds were all ex-members of the O’Boogie Brothers.
