Deathmonk is John Wight's project started August 20, 2009 specifically for his experimental noise releases. Deathmonk's sound is best described "psychedelic noise with thrash, jazz, ambient and black metal influences." A new album will be released soon, and is influenced by power electronics artists such as Sutcliffe Jugend, Whitehouse, Ramleh, among others, and people like Marquis de Sade, Peter Sutcliffe, and Albert Fish, to name a few.
