About Death In Texas
Death In Texas is an alternative duo based in London. Ruth Power (then Searle) met Kane Power while both studying for music degrees in their native New Zealand in 2004. The pair began working on music together a few years later, combining Ruth’s classical piano training with Kane’s hardcore and metal background. They relocated to London in 2009 and formed Death In Texas, self-releasing a debut EP/demo 'We Will Implode' in 2011. After two years (and as many bassists) gigging in and around London and throughout the UK
