Originally founded in 2008 in Stuttgart, Germany, Dear Paris are the city’s newest indie synthpop attraction. After having spent most of 2010 working on new material and sharpening their sound, their début, Synchronize EP, released in early 2011, is the band’s most impressive piece of work yet. A broad combination of influences ranging from classics à la Prince and Toto to up-and-coming acts like Tesla Boy has helped them create what NYC-based producer Diamond Cut calls a “fantastic EP with a great sound”.
