About Deaf Not Dead
Forming in the summer of 2007, Deaf not Dead consists of Rick Martel, Kirby Sankus, Bryan Bartling, and Sean Mis. They released one album, “Commotions”, in May of 2008, and have continued to play frequently at the East End, Mojo 13, and the Urban Bike Project. During an interview with WWUD in fall of 2008, Deaf Not Dead performed a cover the Magnetic Fields song “Strange Powers”, which they continue to occasionally play live. From their myspace page:
