About Deadstare
Hardcore Punk/ Grindcore/ Power Violence band from Sydney, Australia. Originally began as "One Step Ahead" in 1998. Released a self-titled 7" in 2000 on Shortfuse Records and then a Split 7" with Adelaide hardcore band Far Left Limit in 2001 on Gash/ Deplorable Records. Contributed tracks to compilations put out by various record labels such as No Deal, Snapshot, Building, Kangaroo, Gutless and Paste City. Disbanded in 2004 and released a posthomous CD Discography in 2006 on Snapshot.
