About Deadgaard
Viking/melodic death metal from St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada. Formed in 2008 as Weapon and released an album called The Forging under that name, before changing to Deadgaard in 2012-2013 after a cease-and-desist by another group named Weapon. Released the full-length "Sanctity of Death" in 2014, and a split with Halifax-based group Orchid's Curse in 2018. Disbanded in 2019(?). Last known lineup: Allen Miller(2006-2019): lead guitar, vocals
