De Basspoopers (literally The Basspoopers) is a dutch Noise-Hop band from the northern parts of The Netherlands, in both the regions Drenthe and Groningen. According to the band they started making music as a response to the financial crisis in 2008. The Subgenre Noise-Hop is a mix with elements from Techno, Triphop, Dub, Noise, Rave, (Heavy)Metal and Hiphop. The rude style of music would be an outlet for the frustrations of the fans due to the economic crisis.
