Davitt Sigerson began his career as a music journalist in the late 70s, had a short and relatively unsuccessful career as an artist -- releasing two albums as a solo artist and one collaboration under the name The Royal Macadamians in the 80s -- then moved into songwriting and production (most notably for David and David, The Bangles' final pre-breakup album Everything, and the initial sessions for Tori Amos' debut album Little Earthquakes. Subsequently he moved to the business side of the business
