Davie Jones with the King Bees was the correct credit on the single Liza Jane / Louie Louie Go Home (Vocalion Pop V.9221), the first single released in June 1964 by David Bowie. The other King Bees were Bob Allen, Dick Underwood, Frank Howard & Roger Bluck. This single was followed in 1965 by "I Pity The Fool", as The Manish Boys.
