
David Lynn Thomas (born in Miami, Florida on 14 June 1953 ; died 23 April 2025) was an American singer, songwriter, and musician remembered as one of the founding members of the short-lived protopunkers Rocket From The Tombs (1974-1975) and of post-punk group Pere Ubu (1975 - present, intermittently). He released several albums under various guises, including David Thomas & the Pedestrians, David Thomas & the Wooden Birds, and David Thomas & Two Pale Boys.
