About David T Margulies
David graduated from the University of California at San Diego in 1996 with a BA in music, with department honors in piano performance, and a Ph.D. in Material Science. At UCSD, he studied piano with Aleck Karis (who is his current teacher), and earlier with Ruth Neville, Stephanie Walens, and Howard Wells. David enjoys surfing, playing basketball, jogging, traveling, and reading. He is married and lives in Prunedale, CA where he performs classical works as well as his own compositions.
