About Dave Brooks
Dave Brooks(Born in Sheffield 1951) is a singer/songwriter who wrote the theme music for the groundbreaking 1974 BBC documentary series The Family which was released as a single by EMI under the name of Mr. Brooks.He toured regularly and was the opening act for many bands including Fairport Convention,Chris Farlowe and Ronnie Lane's Slim Chance.He co wrote songs with Graham Dee which were released by Pye on Graham's two solo albums.Dave also wrote the theme music for many other BBC television programmes including Romer's Egypt
