First, lets get the name right. It is not 'Dave Band Asgrove' but is DAVE ASGROVE BAND. Dave Asgrove originates from Wolverhampton in the West Midlands of the U.K. From early days he was heavily influenced by the meaningful lyrics of Bob Dylan, the raw sorrow of BB King and Lightning Hopkins, and the aggressively direct yet soulful playing of Jimi Hendrix. Later, by the infectious genious of street level wordmasters John Cooper-Clarke, Gill Scot Heron and Bob Marley, The Stranglers and The Clash.
